Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Do I need to fast before coming for the health screening?
Yes. You are required to fast (no food or drinks except plain water) for at least 8 to 10 hours prior to your appointment to ensure accurate results for your blood tests (such as HbA1c and lipid profile) and abdominal ultrasound.
Should I schedule my appointment at a specific time during my menstrual cycle?
It is best to schedule your screening at least 7 days before or after your period. Menstruation can affect urine test accuracy and stool occult blood results, as well as make breast ultrasounds uncomfortable due to hormonal tenderness.
What is the difference between the RM838 and RM938 packages?
Both packages include identical medical imaging, tumour markers, and lab tests. The difference lies in the consultation: the RM838 package includes a review and medical assessment by a Medical Officer, while the RM938 package includes a full consultation and result review by a Specialist (e.g., Gynaecologist or Physician).
