Prof. Dr Imelda Balchin is a Resident Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist (O&G) at Damansara Specialist Hospital 2 (DSH2) and a Sessional Consultant O&G at Damansara Specialist Hospital (DSH1). She is a subspecialist in Maternal and Fetal Medicine, with a clinical focus on managing high-risk pregnancies and maternal health.

Her clinical practice includes the Preterm Birth Prevention Clinic, where she applies evidence-based protocols for expectant mothers. With over 25 years of experience in the field, she has previously served as a Professor at University Malaya and a Clinical Lecturer at University College London (UCL).
