Dr. Nuraini Sukarna is a Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, providing specialist care for women throughout pregnancy and different stages of reproductive health. She obtained her Doctor of Medicine (MD) from Universiti Malaysia Sabah in 2009 and subsequently completed her Master of Obstetrics & Gynaecology at Universiti Malaya in 2019.

As an Obstetrician and Gynaecologist, Dr. Nuraini provides assessment and management for a broad range of pregnancy and women’s health concerns. Her clinical practice includes antenatal care, pregnancy monitoring, childbirth and delivery care, menstrual concerns, reproductive health and general gynaecological conditions. Care is individualised according to each patient’s medical needs, stage of pregnancy and overall health.

Dr. Nuraini also supports women through routine pregnancy follow-up and maternity care, including monitoring the health of both mother and baby throughout pregnancy. Where additional investigation or specialist management is required, appropriate treatment and multidisciplinary care can be planned according to the patient’s condition.

In addition to obstetric care, Dr. Nuraini provides assessment and management for general gynaecological concerns affecting women at different stages of life. Her practice supports preventive women’s healthcare, reproductive health assessment and appropriate medical or surgical management where clinically indicated.

Dr. Nuraini is registered with the National Specialist Register of Malaysia under Obstetrics & Gynaecology and currently practises as a Resident Obstetrician & Gynaecologist at KPJ Sabah Specialist Hospital in Kota Kinabalu. Her specialist training and clinical experience support comprehensive and individualised maternity and women’s healthcare for patients in Sabah.
