Dr. Muhammad Haekal Khazalle

Information

Dr Muhammad Haekal Khazalle is a Consultant General and Upper Gastrointestinal (UGI) Surgeon. He earned his medical degree and Master of Medicine in Surgery from Universiti Sains Malaysia. Following his specialisation, he completed a sub-speciality fellowship in Upper Gastrointestinal Surgery under the Ministry of Health Malaysia, including advanced clinical exposure at Samsung Medical Centre in Seoul, South Korea.

Dr Muhammad Haekal is actively involved in the medical community, currently serving as the Secretary for the Malaysian Upper Gastrointestinal Surgical Society (MUGIS) for the 2025–2027 term. His practice focuses on the surgical management of conditions affecting the oesophagus and stomach, utilising both conventional and minimally invasive techniques.

• Minimally Invasive Surgery: Laparoscopic procedures for gastrointestinal conditions.
• Bariatric and Metabolic Surgery: Surgical interventions for weight management and metabolic health.
• Benign UGI Conditions: Treatment of Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease (GERD) and hiatal hernias.
• Advanced Nutritional Support: Management of nutrition in complex surgical patients.
