Dr. Mastura Rosly

Dr Mastura Rosly is a passionate psychiatrist, psychotherapist, mental educator and advocate. She obtained her MBBS from the International Islamic University, Malaysia (IIUM) and specialty training in Psychiatry (MMed Psych) at UiTM. She is a general psychiatrist who assesses and treats mood, anxiety, psychotic, and neurodevelopmental disorders, among others.

Emphasis on the holistic approach of bio-psycho-social modalities of treatment is vital in her clinical practice. In line with this ideology, she offers psychotherapies such as psychodynamic psychotherapy, Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT), Coginitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Interpersonal Social Rhythm Therapy (IPSRT).

Apart from major psychiatric disorders, her niche interests include personality disorders, neurodivergence (adolescent and adults), addiction (behavioural and substance) and issues pertaining gender & sexuality. Dedicated towards advocating for mental health awareness, accessibility and destigmatisation, she is often involved in media appearances and outreach programmes addressing such matters.

Dr Mastura believes in investing in youths and the future minds. This is culminated in her academic role as a lecturer, supervisor, and researcher at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Cyberjaya.
