Dr. Lai Joon Thian is a highly skilled Emergency Physician who brings specialized expertise in urgent care and acute resuscitation to Kuching Specialist Hospital as a Resident Consultant.

He earned his MD from Universiti Sains Malaysia in 2008 and completed his Master of Medicine in Emergency Medicine in 2018. Further advancing his subspecialty expertise, Dr. Lai completed clinical training in Emergency Trauma Care (ETC) at Hospital Sungai Buloh in 2024.

His clinical practice features a strong focus on acute trauma management, critical care resuscitation, and emergency patient stabilization. With deep expertise in evaluating high-acuity medical and surgical emergencies, Dr. Lai specializes in rapid diagnostic assessment and timely interventions.
