Dr Zul Hilmi Yaakob is a Consultant Cardiologist and Physician. He currently serves as a Resident Consultant at Tawakkal Specialist Hospital and a Sessional Consultant at Ampang Puteri Specialist Hospital.

After graduating from the University of Tasmania, Australia, Dr Zul Hilmi completed his postgraduate training in Internal Medicine and Cardiology at the University Malaya Medical Centre (UMMC). He later served as a Senior Lecturer in Cardiology at the same institution before transitioning into full-time private clinical practice.

His clinical practice focuses on the diagnosis and management of a wide spectrum of cardiovascular diseases. He has a particular interest in Interventional Cardiology, specifically in performing complex percutaneous coronary interventions (PCIs).

Clinical Interests

• Interventional Cardiology: Complex angioplasty and stenting (PCI).
• General Cardiology: Management of heart failure, hypertension, and valvular heart disease.
• Non-Invasive Diagnostics: Transthoracic echocardiography, treadmill stress testing, and CT coronary angiography.
• Preventive Care: Cardiac health screening and risk factor modification.
