Assoc. Prof. Dr. Teh Pei Chiek graduated from Universiti Putra Malaysia where he obtained his Medical Degree, and subsequently his postgraduate degree from the Royal College of Physicians in the UK. He then completed his subspecialty training in neurology under the fellowship programme by the Ministry of Health at the Queen Square Hospital, University College of London, where he further pursued an additional one year of fellowship training, specialising in Parkinson’s Disease and Movement Disorders. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Teh was also the Head of Neurology Unit at Hospital Tuanku Ja'afar in Seremban. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Teh has experience in dealing with a variety of neurological diseases such as stroke, headache, epilepsy, as well as muscle and nerve diseases. He has performed more than 1,000 nerve conduction studies, botulinum toxin injections and electroencephalography interpretations.
