Dr. Tee Hoi Poh

Information

Dr Tee obtained his MBBS degree in year 1998, Specialist in Internal Medicine (MRCP) 2004 and completed Gastroenterology Training under Ministry of Health, Malaysia from 2006-2009, including a 1-year fellowship at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital, Sydney.
He was the Consultant Gastroenterologist in Hospital Tengku Ampuan Afzan, Kuantan from 2010-2017 before joining the KPJ Pahang Specialist Hospital, Kuantan.
He served as Hon. Treasurer of the Malaysian Society of Gastroenterology and Hepatology (MSGH) from 2014-2021 and as a council member of College of Physicians, Academy of Medicine from 2020-2024.
He is a member of Education Division of Gastroenterology Training Committee under Malaysian Medical Council. He is also the CPD reviewer for Academy of Medicine on Gastroenterology and Hepatology.
He has keen interest in medical research. He was the principal investigator and completed 16 international clinical trials, mainly in trials using biologic agents for inflammatory bowel disease and DAAs for Chronic Hepatitis C.
