Dr. Safari Bin Elis

Information

Dr. Safari Elis is our Consultant Physician and Cardiologist. He completed his MD at the University of Science Malaysia in 1991.  He worked as a House Officer at Ipoh Hospital for a year and subsequently posted to the Cardiology Dept, IJN in 1992.  

He had been working as a Cardiologist since 2002, performing both invasive and non-invasive procedures in a high volume heart centre at General Hospital, Penang. The non-invasive services include exercise ECG test, Echocardiography, Transesophageal ECHO and stress ECHO as well as interpretation of Multi-Slice CT Coronary Angiography. His invasive work includes Conventional Coronary Angiography, Coronary and Peripheral Angioplasties and Pacemaker implantation.
