Information

Dr. Rohana Zainal is the first and only female urologist across all KPJ hospitals.

Born and raised in Negeri Sembilan, she earned her Medical Degree from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM) in 2003 and went on to complete her Master of General Surgery at UKM in 2012 before pursuing subspecialty training in Urology.

She obtained her Fellowship in Urology (FRCS Urol) from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow in 2018 and is a board-certified member of the Malaysian Board of Urology.

Her primary area of interest is endourology, where she treats all types of kidney, ureteric, and bladder stones, alongside managing benign prostatic enlargement and bladder tumors. Additionally, she specializes in minimally invasive surgical procedures, including laparoscopic nephrectomy.
