Dr. Peter Ong Ming Chong is a highly experienced Consultant General Surgeon in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, providing surgical assessment and treatment for a broad range of general surgical conditions. He holds a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) and Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons (FRCS), with extensive experience in general surgical practice.

As a General Surgeon, Dr. Peter provides consultation, investigation and surgical management for conditions involving the abdomen, digestive system, breast, thyroid, lymph nodes and other areas within the scope of general surgery. His clinical approach includes careful assessment to determine whether a condition can be managed conservatively or requires an appropriate surgical procedure.

His current surgical practice includes procedures such as breast and lymph node biopsy, thyroid biopsy, diagnostic laparoscopy and haemorrhoid surgery, alongside the assessment and management of other general surgical conditions. Treatment recommendations are individualised according to each patient’s diagnosis, symptoms and overall health.
