Dr. Norafidah Ahmad is a Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, providing comprehensive care for women throughout different stages of reproductive health. She obtained her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from Universiti Malaya and subsequently completed her Master of Obstetrics & Gynaecology at the same university. She further pursued advanced training through a Fellowship in Minimal Access Surgery in Dubai.

As an Obstetrician and Gynaecologist, Dr. Norafidah provides specialist care for pregnancy, childbirth and a wide range of women’s health concerns. Her clinical practice includes antenatal care, pregnancy monitoring, delivery care, menstrual disorders, reproductive health concerns and general gynaecological conditions.

Her additional training in Minimal Access Surgery supports the management of selected gynaecological conditions using minimally invasive surgical techniques where clinically appropriate. These approaches may offer smaller incisions and support recovery compared with conventional open surgery, depending on the procedure and patient’s condition.

Dr. Norafidah also provides preventive women’s healthcare and assessment for patients with gynaecological symptoms such as abnormal bleeding, pelvic concerns and other reproductive health issues. Treatment and follow-up are individualised according to each patient’s diagnosis, health needs and stage of life.

Dr. Norafidah is registered with the National Specialist Register of Malaysia under Obstetrics & Gynaecology and practises at KPJ Sabah Specialist Hospital in Kota Kinabalu. Her combination of obstetric, gynaecological and minimally invasive surgical training supports comprehensive women’s healthcare for patients in Sabah.
