Dr. Mushawiahti Mustapha

Dr Mushawiahti Mustapha is a Consultant Ophthalmologist and Vitreoretinal Specialist, with expertise in vitreoretinal surgery and complex cataract surgery. She has extensive experience in the management of retinal conditions and complex ophthalmic surgical cases.

Dr Mushawiahti completed her MD at Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM) in 2000, followed by a Master of Surgery in Ophthalmology from UKM in 2007. She subsequently underwent extensive vitreoretinal surgical training in Malaysia and Australia, including fellowship training at the Royal Victorian Eye and Ear Hospital in Melbourne.

Her clinical practice focuses on vitreoretinal diseases, retinal surgery and complex cataract surgery. She has also been actively involved in ophthalmology education, professional training and research, with more than 80 published articles and contributions to three book chapters.
