Prof. Dr Mohamad Nasir Shafiee is a Consultant Obstetrician & Gynaecologist and Gynaecological Oncologist, with expertise in the management of gynaecological cancers and pre-cancerous conditions. He is also a Professor of Obstetrics & Gynaecology at Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM).

His clinical interests include gynaecological oncology, cancer prevention, diagnosis and treatment of cancers affecting the cervix, uterus, ovaries, vulva and vagina, as well as the management of pre-cancerous gynaecological conditions.

Prof. Dr Mohamad Nasir completed his MD at UKM in 2002, followed by his Master of Obstetrics & Gynaecology and MRCOG in 2009. He subsequently pursued his PhD at the University of Nottingham, United Kingdom, while undertaking further training in Gynaecological Oncology.

He has also been actively involved in gynaecological cancer research, particularly translational research involving cancer biomarkers, prevention and treatment.
