Profile

Dr Mohamad Jeremi Jeffrey is one of the resident Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons at KPJ Damansara Specialist Hospital. He obtained his medical degree from the University of Calgary, Canada in 2011, after which he returned to serve in Malaysia. As a medical officer, he worked across various surgical subspecialty units before pursuing specialization in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.

Upon completing his surgical training, he served as a Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon in Terengganu, Malaysia, focusing on post-trauma and tumour reconstruction, cleft lip and palate repair, burns management, and the treatment of skin and rare soft tissue conditions. In recognition of his dedication to expanding plastic surgery services in the state, he received the Ministry of Health’s Excellent Service Award in 2022. Beyond his clinical work, Dr Jeremi is actively involved in the Malaysian plastic surgery community. He served as an EXCO member of the Malaysian Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons (MSPRS) for the 2022–2024 term and was part of the Programme Committee for the Asian Federation of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Societies (APRAS). He has delivered presentations both locally and internationally on trauma reconstruction and cleft lip and palate care. Following a year-long clinical fellowship, Dr Jeremi has expanded his practice to include cosmetic surgery and non-invasive aesthetic procedures, offering a comprehensive approach to plastic, reconstructive, burns, and aesthetic surgery.

Dr Jeremi believes in building trust through honest communication, ensuring patients are empowered with knowledge rather than pressured into elective procedures. He takes pride in creating a safe, respectful environment where every patient feels heard, understood, and supported throughout their surgical journey.
