Dr Maizatul Rahman Selamat is a Consultant General Surgeon with a subspecialty interest in Breast and Endocrine Surgery. He currently serves as a Resident Consultant at KPJ Bandar Maharani Specialist Hospital and a Visiting Consultant at KPJ Puteri Specialist Hospital.

With over two decades of clinical experience, Dr Maizatul’s practice focuses on the surgical management of breast diseases and disorders of the endocrine system. He completed his international fellowship in Breast and Endocrine Surgery at Seoul National University Hospital (SNUH) in South Korea, where he gained exposure to advanced surgical techniques for thyroid and breast conditions.

In addition to his clinical duties, he contributes to hospital governance as the Chairman of the Surgical Committee at KPJ Bandar Maharani Specialist Hospital.

Dr Maizatul Rahman Selamat provides consultation and surgical interventions for the following conditions:
• Breast Surgery: Management of benign breast lumps, breast cancer surgery (Mastectomy and Breast Conserving Surgery), and diagnostic biopsies.
• Endocrine Surgery: Surgical treatment for thyroid nodules, goitres, parathyroid disorders, and adrenal gland conditions.
• General Surgery: Management of hernias (Inguinal, Umbilical, Incisional), gallbladder diseases (Laparoscopic Cholecystectomy), and various skin and soft tissue excisions.
• Minimally Invasive Surgery: Laparoscopic procedures aimed at reducing post-operative recovery time.
