Dr. Lee Woo Guan passed his medical undergraduate, MBBS, at University of Malaya in 1993, and the co-joint surgical examination, FRCS (Edinburgh), Master of Surgery (Singapore) at National University of Singapore where he was presented with a Gold Medal (The Chapter of Surgeon) for his excellence in examination in 1997.
Dr. Lee Woo Guan completed sub-specialty training at the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh, Princess Margaret Hospital for joint replacement and arthroscopic reconstruction, and the University of Mississippi for trauma. With over 20 years as a Johnson & Johnson Prosthesis Surgeon, he is experienced in primary and complex revision surgeries using systems like PFC Sigma, Attune, Pinnacle, Coral Stem, and TC3Dr. Lee Woo Guan is a sports injury surgeon specializing in arthroscopic shoulder stabilization, ligament reconstruction, and meniscus repair. He has performed over 450 robotic-assisted total knee replacements and is skilled in minimally invasive adult reconstruction, using quadricep-sparing and kinematic alignment techniques.
He also conducts robotic partial knee and total hip replacements with VELYS Hip Navigation and manages complex hip and knee revisions. Additionally, he is experienced in upper limb reconstructions, including total and reverse shoulder, total elbow, and radial head replacements.
In recognition of his clinical excellence and ongoing contributions to the medical field, Dr. Lee was honored with the Global Health Award in Bangkok in 2025 and the prestigious Healthcare Asia Award in Singapore in 2026.
