Dr. Hoari Krishnan A/L Radhakrishnan is an experienced Consultant Orthopaedic and Sports Trauma Surgeon at KPJ Sabah Specialist Hospital in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, with extensive training in orthopaedic trauma, sports injuries, arthroscopy and complex musculoskeletal surgery. His clinical expertise encompasses injuries and conditions affecting the bones, joints, muscles, ligaments and tendons, with advanced fellowship exposure across several areas of orthopaedic surgery.

Dr. Hoari obtained his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from Manipal Academy of Higher Education in 1996 before completing his Master of Surgery in Orthopaedics at Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia in 2005. He subsequently pursued extensive fellowship training in Malaysia and overseas, including hand surgery, trauma surgery, hip surgery, pelvic and acetabular surgery, limb reconstruction and shoulder surgery.

As an Orthopaedic & Sports Trauma Surgeon, Dr. Hoari provides specialist assessment and treatment for sports injuries, fractures, joint injuries, ligament and tendon injuries and complex orthopaedic trauma. His practice also encompasses arthroscopic and reconstructive approaches where clinically appropriate, with treatment tailored to the nature of the injury, functional requirements and individual needs of each patient.

His advanced trauma training includes experience in the management of complex fractures, pelvic and acetabular injuries and limb reconstruction, while his subspecialty fellowships support the treatment of conditions involving the hip, shoulder and hand. Depending on the diagnosis, management may involve non-surgical treatment, rehabilitation, arthroscopy, fracture fixation or reconstructive surgery.

Dr. Hoari has also undertaken further training in pain management and medical injury or impairment assessment, complementing his orthopaedic expertise in patients with persistent musculoskeletal pain, trauma-related disability or functional limitations.

Dr. Hoari is registered with the National Specialist Register of Malaysia under Orthopaedics and currently practises as a Resident Orthopaedic Surgeon at KPJ Sabah Specialist Hospital in Kota Kinabalu. His broad international fellowship experience enables him to provide comprehensive orthopaedic care for patients with sports injuries, trauma and complex bone and joint conditions.
