Dr. Hema Yamini Devi A/P Ramarmuty is a Consultant Physician and Respiratory Medicine Specialist with extensive experience in Internal Medicine and respiratory care. She obtained her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from Melaka Manipal Medical College in 2008 and subsequently attained Membership of the Royal College of Physicians of the United Kingdom (MRCP UK). She later completed specialist training in Respiratory Medicine and pursued advanced fellowship training in Lung Cancer and Interventional Pulmonology at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital in Perth, Australia.

As a Respiratory Medicine Specialist, Dr. Hema provides comprehensive assessment and management for a broad range of respiratory conditions. Her clinical interests include lung cancer, interventional pulmonology, severe asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), lung and pleural infections, tuberculosis and other complex respiratory disorders. Her advanced training in interventional pulmonology supports specialised diagnostic and therapeutic procedures for patients with respiratory and pulmonary conditions.

Dr. Hema is registered with the National Specialist Register of Malaysia under Internal Medicine – Respiratory Medicine. She serves as Head of the Respiratory Department at Hospital Queen Elizabeth and also practises as a visiting specialist at KPJ Sabah Specialist Hospital in Kota Kinabalu. Her experience in respiratory medicine, lung cancer and interventional pulmonology contributes to the delivery of comprehensive specialist respiratory care for patients in Sabah.
