Dr. Foo Choong Hoon

Dr. Foo Choong Hoon is a Consultant Orthopaedic and Spine Surgeon with extensive experience in orthopaedic surgery and the management of spinal conditions. He obtained his Doctor of Medicine (MD) from Universiti Sains Malaysia in 2006 before pursuing postgraduate surgical and orthopaedic training. He subsequently completed his Master of Orthopaedic Surgery at Universiti Malaya in 2014 and undertook subspecialty training in spinal surgery under the Ministry of Health Malaysia.

As an Orthopaedic and Spine Surgeon, Dr. Foo provides comprehensive assessment and management for a wide range of musculoskeletal and spinal conditions. His clinical practice includes the management of degenerative spine conditions, spinal trauma, spinal infections, spinal deformities and other disorders affecting the spine and musculoskeletal system. His specialist training enables him to provide both conservative and surgical treatment according to each patient's condition and clinical needs.

Dr. Foo is registered as a specialist in Orthopaedic Surgery with the National Specialist Register of Malaysia and has continued to contribute to spine care, professional training and medical education in Sabah. He practises at KPJ Sabah Specialist Hospital in Kota Kinabalu, providing specialised orthopaedic and spine services to patients requiring comprehensive musculoskeletal and spinal care.
