Dr. Elsie Jane Anastasius is a Consultant Otorhinolaryngologist and ENT Surgeon at KPJ Sabah Specialist Hospital in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, specialising in the diagnosis and treatment of conditions affecting the ear, nose, throat and related head and neck structures. Her clinical practice includes the assessment and management of common and complex ENT conditions affecting both breathing, hearing and upper airway function.

Dr. Elsie obtained her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from Universiti Malaya in 2003 and subsequently completed her Master of Otorhinolaryngology at Universiti Malaya in 2018. She is registered with the National Specialist Register of Malaysia under Otorhinolaryngology.

As an ENT Specialist, Dr. Elsie provides assessment and treatment for conditions involving the nose and sinuses, tonsils and throat, ears and eardrums, nasal obstruction and other otorhinolaryngological conditions. Her current procedure profile includes ENT procedures such as tonsillectomy, septoplasty, sinus surgery, myringoplasty, myringotomy, tympanoplasty, mastoidectomy and nasal polyp removal.

Her practice includes both medical and surgical management, with treatment individualised according to each patient’s symptoms, diagnosis and overall condition. Patients with persistent sinus problems, tonsil disorders, nasal obstruction, ear disease or hearing-related symptoms may undergo further ENT assessment to determine whether medical treatment or surgery is appropriate.

Dr. Elsie has also contributed to clinical research and publications in Otorhinolaryngology, including work involving nasopharyngeal lesions, airway disorders and other ENT conditions. Her combined clinical and academic experience supports evidence-based management of patients with a broad range of ear, nose and throat problems.

Dr. Elsie currently practises as a Resident ENT Surgeon at KPJ Sabah Specialist Hospital in Kota Kinabalu, where she provides specialist consultation, diagnostic assessment and surgical treatment for patients with ENT conditions.
