Dr. Chong Soon Eu is a resident Consultant Anaesthesiologist and Critical Care specialist at KPJ Penang Specialist Hospital. With foundational and advanced medical training from Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM), he provides clinical anaesthesia management and perioperative care for patients undergoing a wide range of surgical procedures.

His practice focuses on ensuring patient safety, comfort, and clinical monitoring before, during, and throughout the post-operative recovery phase.

Scope of Clinical Practice

• General Anaesthesia: Administration and monitoring of systemic anaesthetic agents for major and minor surgical interventions.
• Regional & Local Anaesthesia: Delivery of targeted nerve blocks and spinal/epidural anaesthesia for localised pain management during procedures.
• Perioperative Care: Comprehensive pre-operative evaluation, intra-operative physiological monitoring, and immediate post-operative recovery oversight.
• Critical Care Support: Management of acute pain and complex physiological monitoring for patients requiring specialised critical care attention.
