Dr. Augustine C. K. Tiong is a highly experienced General Surgeon with more than four decades of experience in medical and surgical practice. He obtained his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from the University of New South Wales, Australia, in 1983. He subsequently pursued postgraduate surgical training and was awarded the Fellowship of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow (FRCS) in 1989. Over the years, he has built extensive experience in the assessment, diagnosis and surgical management of a broad range of general surgical conditions.

As a General Surgeon, Dr. Augustine provides comprehensive surgical care encompassing the evaluation and management of conditions involving the abdomen, gastrointestinal system, soft tissues and other conditions requiring general surgical intervention. His extensive clinical experience enables him to manage patients across different stages of care, from initial consultation and diagnosis to surgical treatment and postoperative follow-up, with an emphasis on safe and appropriate patient-centred management.

With a long-standing career serving patients in Sabah, Dr. Augustine continues to practise at KPJ Sabah Specialist Hospital in Kota Kinabalu. He is registered with the Malaysian Medical Council and the National Specialist Register in General Surgery. His decades of surgical experience and continued commitment to clinical practice contribute to the provision of comprehensive general surgical services for patients in Sabah.
