Dr. Ana Poorani Thambidurai Abdullah is an experienced medical practitioner with a long-standing career in patient care and clinical services. She obtained her Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM) and has been fully registered with the Malaysian Medical Council since 2005. Over the years, she has gained extensive experience in providing medical assessment, treatment and ongoing care for patients across a broad range of healthcare needs.

Based at KPJ Sabah Specialist Hospital in Kota Kinabalu, Dr. Ana Poorani is involved in the delivery of comprehensive medical services with an emphasis on patient safety, continuity of care and individualised management. Her clinical responsibilities include assessing patients, coordinating appropriate investigations and treatment, and working alongside multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure patients receive appropriate and timely care.

Beyond her hospital-based practice, Dr. Ana Poorani is also involved in community healthcare services through Klinik Bergerak Waqaf An-Nur MUIS in Sabah. Her continued involvement in both hospital and community healthcare reflects her commitment to improving access to medical care and supporting the health and well-being of the community in Sabah.
