Dr. Amirozi Ahmad

Information

Dr. Amirozi Ahmad is our Consultant Otorhinolaryngologist. Dr. Amirozi graduated as a Medical Officer from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM), Kuala Lumpur in 1999. He did his housemanship in Hospital Pulau Pinang until 2000. After his housemanship, he was transferred to Hospital Alor Setar to serve as Medical Officer. He started to join ENT department of Hospital Alor Setar, in June 2001. He was already exposed to numerous cases of ENT and Head & Neck cases before joining specialist training. Dr Amirozi entered the Master Training Programme for ENT in 2004 at Pusat Pengajian Sains Perubatan USM, Kubang Kerian, Kelantan.

During his 4 years in the masters training, he was given vast exposure in managing and operating ear, nose and throat cases and also head and neck cases. After he graduated from the Master programme from USM in 2008, he was posted to Hospital Tengku Ampuan Afzan, Kuantan for 2 years. He was actively involved in teaching IIU medical students and giving presentations.
