Dr. Aaron Gerarde Paul is a highly experienced Orthopaedic Surgeon with subspecialty expertise in Orthopaedic Oncology. He obtained his medical degree from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM) in 1999 and subsequently completed his Master of Surgery in Orthopaedics (MS Ortho, UKM) in 2008. With more than two decades of experience in the Malaysian healthcare system, he has developed extensive expertise in the diagnosis and management of a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions, with a particular focus on bone and soft tissue tumours.

Dr. Aaron further advanced his expertise through fellowship training in musculoskeletal tumour surgery in Malaysia and Australia. His clinical practice encompasses the comprehensive management of benign and malignant musculoskeletal tumours, complex orthopaedic conditions and limb-salvage surgery. He is actively involved in multidisciplinary cancer care, working closely with specialists from various disciplines to provide individualised treatment for patients with complex orthopaedic oncology conditions. He currently practises at Hospital Queen Elizabeth and KPJ Sabah Specialist Hospital in Kota Kinabalu.

Beyond his clinical practice, Dr. Aaron is actively involved in medical education, research and professional development within the field of orthopaedics. He has contributed to postgraduate orthopaedic training and has participated in professional committees, clinical audits and academic activities at state and national levels. His research interests include orthopaedic oncology, giant cell tumours, limb-salvage procedures and innovative surgical techniques, with his work featured in peer-reviewed medical publications.
