Datuk Dr. Johari is a medical graduate from University Malaya. He went on to earn his Certificate of Medical Specialist Neurosurgery from the Catholic University of Leuven in Belgium. Datuk Dr. Johari is a well-trained neurosurgeon with vast experience treating surgical neurological problems, with over 35 years of operating room experience, and is considered one of Malaysia’s pioneers in the field of neurosurgery. He has spent his medical career concentrating on neurosurgery, with a focus on core and subspecialty neurosurgical works ranging from pediatric to adult, cranial to spinal procedures. He has successfully done a wide spectrum of procedures, including treatment for head and spinal trauma, cranial and spinal lesions ranging from congenital to tumours and infections, spinal degenerative disease and cerebrovascular disease.
