Dato’ Dr Zurin Adnan Abd Rahman is a Senior Consultant Neurosurgeon at KPJ Damansara Specialist Hospital with over 35 years of clinical experience. He is officially registered with the National Specialist Register (NSR) Malaysia (No. 126734) and is recognised as a specialist in the surgical management of complex disorders affecting the brain and spine.

After earning his Master of Medicine from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM) in 1995, Dato’ Dr Zurin completed an intensive two-year Clinical Fellowship in Cerebrovascular Neurosurgery (1996–1998) at the Royal North Shore Hospital in Sydney, Australia. During this period, he gained advanced specialised training in the surgical treatment of brain aneurysms and vascular malformations.

Following his fellowship, he returned to Malaysia, where he served as the Head of the Division of Neurosurgery at UKM before transitioning to private practice within the KPJ Healthcare network.

Areas of Clinical Focus

In accordance with established medical standards, Dato’ Dr Zurin provides assessment and surgical management for:
• Neuro-Oncology: Surgical management of brain and spinal tumours.
• Cerebrovascular Surgery: Treatment of conditions such as brain aneurysms and arteriovenous malformations (AVM).
• Spine Surgery: Clinical management of degenerative spine diseases, disc herniations, and spinal trauma.
• General Neurosurgery: Management of head injuries, hydrocephalus, and peripheral nerve disorders.
