Dato' Dr. Nor Azizah Aziz graduated from University Kebangsaan Malaysia in 1985 and started her medical career as a house officer in Hospital Penang. She then continued her services in many hospitals including Bukit Mertajam District Hospital, Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Kota Kinabalu and Hospital Sultanah Bahiyah Alor Setar. She then went for her postgraduate studies in the United Kingdom and passed with a Diploma in Internal Medicine with distinction from the University of London and completed her MRCP.

She pursued her endocrinology subspecialty while serving in Hospital Penang and completed her final year training with a fellowship in the United Kingdom. She is involved in the management of Diabetes and its complications, thyroid disorders, adrenal and pituitary disorders and its pre and post-operative management.

She is also involved in managing bone disorders such as osteoporosis and Vitamin D deficiency.

She has a special interest in Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome , Cushing’s Syndrome and Acromegaly and is involved in the recently published Malaysian Acromegaly Registry in JAFES. She also has a keen interest in managing thyroid and diabetes in pregnancy.
