With over 40 years of distinguished experience in clinical medicine, academic leadership, and medical innovation, Professor Emeritus Dato' Dr. Lokman Saim is a cornerstone of the Malaysian healthcare landscape. As the first-ever Chief Medical Director (CMD) of KPJ Healthcare Berhad, he leads the group’s clinical operations, ensuring that patient-centric care, research, and education remain at the heart of the KPJ Health System.

Dato' Dr Lokman is widely recognised as a pioneer in Otology and Neurotology in Malaysia. He made history by introducing cochlear implant surgery to the country and establishing the Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM) Cochlear Implant Team. His multidisciplinary approach to hearing healthcare has transformed the lives of countless hearing-impaired patients across the region.
