Dato' Dr. Azhar Md Noh is a Consultant Anaesthesiologist at Ampang Puteri Specialist Hospital and currently serves as the Medical Director of the hospital. He obtained his Bachelor of Science in Medical Sciences from the University of St Andrews, Scotland, followed by his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB) from the University of Glasgow. He subsequently completed his Master of Medicine in Anaesthesiology at Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM), and obtained the Fellowship of the Faculty of Anaesthetists of the Royal College of Surgeons of Ireland (FFARCS) and Fellowship of the Royal College of Anaesthetists, United Kingdom (FRCA).

With extensive experience in Anaesthesiology and Critical Care, Dato' Dr. Azhar has developed a broad clinical background in the provision of anaesthetic care and perioperative management. His specialist training and experience encompass the assessment and preparation of patients before procedures, anaesthetic management during surgery, and post-operative care, with a focus on supporting patient safety throughout the perioperative journey.

Dato' Dr. Azhar also contributes to the leadership and development of Ampang Puteri Specialist Hospital through his role as Medical Director. In this capacity, he supports the hospital's commitment to quality healthcare, clinical excellence and continuous improvement across its multidisciplinary services.
