Dato' Dr. Ashar Abdullah is a Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist at Ampang Puteri Specialist Hospital. He obtained his Doctor of Medicine (MD) from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM) in 1982 and subsequently completed his Master of Medicine in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at UKM and obtained Membership of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (MRCOG) from the United Kingdom in 1989. He is also a Fellow of the Academy of Medicine of Malaysia (FAMM).

With extensive experience in Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Dato' Dr. Ashar has been involved in specialist women's healthcare for several decades. Prior to joining private practice, he served as a Clinical Specialist and Lecturer in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology at Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia from 1992 to 1995. He also gained postgraduate clinical experience in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at the Royal Infirmary and Maternity Hospital in Glasgow.

Dato' Dr. Ashar's clinical experience encompasses the management of a wide range of obstetric and gynaecological conditions, including pregnancy and childbirth, maternal care and women's reproductive health. His extensive experience allows him to provide care throughout different stages of women's health, from pregnancy and delivery to the management of gynaecological conditions.

He is committed to providing comprehensive and patient-centred obstetric and gynaecological care, drawing on his extensive clinical experience and specialist training to support women through their healthcare journey and promote their overall health and wellbeing.
