Dato' Dr. Abdul Halim Abdul Jalil is a Consultant Paediatrician at KPJ Ampang Puteri Specialist Hospital. He obtained his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from the University of Malaya in 1975 and subsequently completed his Diploma in Child Health from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons, London.

With extensive experience in Paediatrics, Dato' Dr. Abdul Halim began his medical career with the Ministry of Health before pursuing postgraduate training in Paediatrics at the Welsh National College of Medicine, University Hospital of Wales, Cardiff. He also received further training in child development, including normal and abnormal child development, as well as hearing and speech, in London.

Dato' Dr. Abdul Halim has been practising at KPJ Ampang Puteri Specialist Hospital since 2009 as a sessional consultant. His professional experience encompasses paediatric care, with particular interests in child development, behavioural and developmental problems in infancy and childhood, and genetic and chromosomal disorders. He has also contributed to professional and academic discussions in the field of Paediatrics through publications and presentations.

He is committed to supporting the health and development of children through comprehensive paediatric care, with a focus on understanding the individual needs of each child and promoting their wellbeing throughout their developmental journey.
