Dr Daphne Dewi Stephen Kalong is a resident Consultant Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon within the KPJ Healthcare network. She provides clinical evaluation, diagnosis, and surgical management for patients requiring structural reconstruction, post-traumatic repair, and elective aesthetic modifications.

Her clinical approach aligns with established public-private collaborative frameworks aimed at expanding accessibility to specialised surgical interventions across East Malaysia.

Areas of Clinical Focus

The scope of surgical procedures and clinical assessments offered includes, but is not limited to:
• Reconstructive Surgery: Cleft lip and palate repair, congenital anomaly corrections, microvascular reconstruction, and complex wound management.
• Post-Trauma & Burn Care: Acute burn management, secondary scar contracture release, skin grafting, and tissue expansion.
• Tumour Resection & Soft Tissue Repair: Excision of benign and malignant cutaneous lesions (including skin malignancies) followed by structural defect reconstruction.
• Aesthetic & Regenerative Procedures: Reconstructive and elective aesthetic soft-tissue alterations, alongside the integration of clinical modalities in tissue healing.
