Batu Pahat, 31 October 2026 – KPJ Healthcare Berhad continued its commitment to making quality healthcare more accessible through its participation in Jelajah Pentas Seni Johor 2026, held from 30 to 31 October 2026 at Dataran Astaka Shahbandar, Batu Pahat.
Organised by Yayasan Johor Corporation (Yayasan JCorp), the community programme brought together various stakeholders to engage with local communities. Through KPJ Batu Pahat Specialist Hospital and the Klinik Waqaf An-Nur (KWAN) Mobile Clinic, KPJ extended essential preventive healthcare services directly to the public.
Throughout the two-day event, visitors benefited from a range of complimentary health screenings, including blood glucose, blood pressure and cholesterol assessments. Recognising the importance of holistic well-being, the initiative also featured mental health screenings using the Depression, Anxiety and Stress Scales (DASS), conducted with the support of Dr. Dinie Suhaili Darmaji, Occupational Health Doctor.
Additionally, visitors had the opportunity to undergo InBody body composition assessments, supported by Dietitian, offering valuable insights into their physical health and nutritional well-being.
Beyond providing accessible screenings, the initiative aimed to encourage early detection, promote preventive healthcare practices and raise awareness of the importance of maintaining both physical and mental well-being.
KPJ Healthcare extends its appreciation to Yayasan JCorp, its strategic partners and the dedicated healthcare professionals whose collective efforts contributed to the success of the programme.
Through initiatives such as Jelajah Pentas Seni Johor, KPJ continues to bring its Care for Life commitment beyond hospital walls, empowering communities to take proactive steps towards healthier lives.
