Shah Alam, 22 September 2026 – KPJ Healthcare Berhad continued its commitment to nurturing healthier communities through the KPJ Sound of Hope – Hear Better. Dream Bigger. programme, bringing essential hearing health education and screening services to students at SMK Seksyen 19, Shah Alam.

Organised in collaboration with JLG REIT Managers Sdn. Bhd., with support from audiology professionals across KPJ's hospital network, the outreach engaged approximately 300 students in an interactive hearing health awareness session designed to encourage better hearing care habits and early detection.

As part of the programme, 71 pre-selected students received complimentary video otoscopy screenings conducted inside the Klinik Waqaf An-Nur (KWAN) Mobile Clinic, making essential hearing health assessments more accessible within the school environment.

The session also featured engaging educational activities, interactive pop quizzes and the distribution of student care kits, creating a meaningful learning experience while reinforcing the importance of protecting hearing health from a young age.

The outreach forms part of KPJ Sound of Hope's broader commitment to reaching 4,500 students across 15 public secondary schools in five states between September 2026 and April 2027.

Through continued collaboration with its partners, healthcare professionals and school communities, KPJ remains dedicated to extending its Care for Life commitment beyond hospital walls, empowering the next generation to hear better and dream bigger.
