Dr. Ayesha Mohd Zain is a highly skilled Consultant Ophthalmologist and Retinal Specialist practicing at several KPJ Specialist Hospitals. With over 15 years of clinical experience, she specializes in the diagnosis and management of complex eye conditions, with a particular focus on Medical Retina and Uveitis.

Dr. Ayesha earned her medical degree (MBBS) from the International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM) and completed her postgraduate Doctorate in Ophthalmology (Dr Ophth) at Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM). To further her expertise, she underwent specialized Fellowship training in Medical Retina and Uveitis in Australia, bringing advanced international clinical perspectives to her patients in Malaysia.

Beyond her clinical practice, Dr. Ayesha is a dedicated academic and researcher. She serves as a Clinical Lecturer at Hospital Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (HUKM) and has published extensive research on topics such as diabetic macular edema, retinal imaging (OCT), and the ophthalmic impacts of systemic diseases. Her commitment to evidence-based medicine ensures that her patients receive the most current and effective treatments for vision preservation.
