Information

Prof. Dr. Choo Wai Sun is a Consultant Cardiologist and Physician with extensive experience in Internal Medicine and Cardiology.

He graduated with an MBBS with Distinction from International Medical University (IMU) and obtained his MRCP (UK), followed by advanced training in Cardiology, Cardiovascular Magnetic Resonance and Echocardiography in Malaysia, the United Kingdom and Singapore.

He has a special interest in cardiac imaging and cardiovascular medicine and is actively involved in medical education and research.

He currently serves as an Associate Professor (Clinical) at KPJ Healthcare University and was honoured with the IMU Alumni Award 2025 for his contributions to healthcare and education.
