Dr. Amran bin Mohamad

Information

Dr. Amran began his medical career as a House Officer (HO) in 1992 at Kuala Terengganu Hospital (HKT), where he continued serving as a Medical Officer (MO) until 1997. He went on to specialize in Ear, Nose, and Throat Medicine, obtaining his Master of Otorhinolaryngology (Master ORL) from Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM) in 2001.

Demonstrating strong clinical leadership, Dr. Amran served as the Head of the ENT Department at Hospital Sultanah Nur Zahirah (HSNZ) for 15 years, from 2001 to 2016. Beyond his clinical practice, he actively contributes to medical education as an Honorary Lecturer across multiple prominent institutions, including UCSI, UniSZA, USM, and UKM. As of 2024, he holds the senior premier civil service grade of JUSA B.
