- Exclusions:
- Additional lab investigations, unexpected complications, extended ward stays beyond standard day surgery, or non-standard take-home medications are not included and will be billed separately.
- Valid Location: Available exclusively at Ampang Puteri Specialist Hospital.
- Amendment: Ampang Puteri Specialist Hospital reserves the right to amend the terms, conditions, or pricing without prior notice.

Does my child need to fast before the procedure?
Yes. Because the procedure is performed under General Anaesthesia, strict fasting (no solid food or fluids) is required before surgery to ensure absolute safety. Our clinical team will provide detailed fasting guidelines and pre-procedure preparation instructions upon confirmation of your appointment.
Is this an inpatient or daycare procedure, and how long is the recovery stay?
This is a daycare procedure. Your child will be admitted on the morning of the procedure, monitored in the recovery room until the anaesthesia fully wears off, and usually discharged on the same day once cleared by our Consultant Surgeon and Anaesthetist.
