    Dr Yia Hua Jern is a resident physician and nephrologist at KPJ Bandar Maharani Specialist Hospital in Muar, Johor.  He specializes in Internal Medicine with a sub-scope in Nephrology.

    He completed his Bachelor of Medicine-Bachelor of Surgery degree from the Medical Academy of Higher Education (MAHE) at the Kasturba Medical College, Manipal in 1998.  He obtained his Diploma in Internal Medicine from the Royal Colleges of Physicians of the United Kingdom in 2004.
