Dr. CL Ang set up the acute stroke treatment / thrombolysis in Hospital Kuala Lumpur back in 2013 and did the same in Hospital Raja Permaisuri Bainun, Ipoh and established the stroke unit in the same hospital. He was a Consultant Neurologist in the Neurology Unit, Hospital Raja Permaisuri Bainun, Ipoh. Other than stroke he has managed other neurology cases including Parkinson disease, epilepsy, multiple sclerosis and migraine to name a few. He is also trained to do electrophysiology study (nerve conduction study and EMG) and interpreting EEG. He is also trained to give botulinum toxin injection for dystonia, hemifacial spasm. He has also worked as a Sessional Consultant Neurologist at KPJ Ipoh from 1 August 2014 till 15 March 2016 before joining Pantai Hospital Ipoh as Resident Consultant Physician & Neurologist in 2016.
Dr. Ang graduated from Kasturba Medical College, India in 1997. He went on to complete and passed his MRCP (UK) examination in 2007. He did his neurology subspecialty training in Neurology Department, HKL and was attached to the stroke unit in Royal Perth Hospital from Nov 2011 to Nov 2012.
