Dr. Vijayavel Vadiveloo completed his undergraduate studies in 1993 from the University of Mangalore. Subsequently completed the Master of O&G in 2001 from University of Malaya and underwent subspecialty training in Gynae Oncology at the Glasgow Royal Infirmary from 2005 -2006.

Completed the MOH Gynae Oncology Fellowship programme in 2008 and was then appointed as Consultant OBGYN and Head of Gynae Oncology Unit at the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology at Hospital HTAR, Klang. He has a special interest in minimally invasive surgery (Laparoscopy) in Gynaecology. He has obtained the GESEA Level 2 Board Certification in Gynae Endoscopy and also Master Certification in Surgical Management of Deep Endometriosis from the European Society of Gynaecological Endoscopy (ESGE) and European Academy of Gynaecological Surgery. He has also received his Certification in Robotic surgery and therefore is able to provide all the options available in Minimally Invasive Surgery for his patients.

After 19 years of service to MOH in 2012, he then decided to pursue his career at KPJ Klang as Head of the Gynae Unit and currently is also practising at Damansara Specialist Hospital 2. He is also an honorary lecturer to Department of O&G, Faculty of Medicine, University Malaya.
