Dr. Siow obtained his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from International Medical University Malaysia. He then obtained his Masters of Surgery (MS) from the National University of Malaysia.

He is currently a resident consultant at Damansara Specialist Hospital 2, specialising in minimally invasive surgery. Apart from general and colorectal surgery, his expertise includes surgical nutrition, laser surgical procedures, laparoscopic, endoscopic procedures and peripherally inserted central catheter (PICC) insertions.
