Dr Fazly attained his medical degree from University College Dublin (National University Ireland) in 2008. He obtained his post graduate qualification from University Kebangsaan Malaysia in 2018  and subsequently completed his fellowship program there in 2022.

Dr Fazly is passionate in his clinical work which mostly involve treating paediatric and adolescent patients with orthopaedic conditions. His niche expertise is in managing fractures, upper limb and lower limb deformities, clubfoot, paediatric hip conditions and cerebral palsy. He also has contributed to the research field by publishing some of his clinical work in various journals and publications, as well as being a reviewer himself.
